Thank You to 2023
2023 has been a year of many trials and tribulations. I continue to learn about myself, how to be gentle to myself, and how to love those around me. Spending more time with loved ones is important and how it can continue filling my bucket. I am thankful for those relationships that have been fostered throughout the year. I am thankful for you, the reader. Your comments, words of encouragement, and time motivate me to continue this writing journey. No matter how hard it gets, I will push along and share my thoughts, and hurts, and be vulnerable.
Thank you for…
Listening, your shoulder has brought me warmth.
Laughing with me, your joy has given me a light on my darkest days.
Attempting to understand me, I am complex.
Spending time with me in complete silence, its golden.
Loving me through thick and thin.
Challenging me.
Thank you for…
Protecting me.
Guiding me.
The Spotify playlists.
Providing me with life advice.
Being a friend, close and acrosst (not a typo) town.
Letting me vent when the walls of life were getting too close for comfort.
Expressing how my parenting motivates you to be a better parent.
Opening up about your family.
Thank you for…
The memes.
The laughs.
The moments we spent playing video games together.
The connection we have.
Being that person to share positive or negative news with.
Always knowing what to say.
Allowing me to be a part of your new growing family.
Treating me like one of your own.
Your words.
Your knowledge.
Your motivation.
Your guidance.
Being you.

Your awareness.
I love you.
Here is to another year. Another year of continued growth. A year where all the blessings are possible, a year where we can all laugh about the past, a year where hit our goals, a year where we can help others, a year where we volunteer more, a year where we can enjoy the fruits of our labor. This year let’s bet on ourselves. Let’s motivate each other. Let’s be our support system. This year we can be one.
